Fargo VA Outreach

We are excited to announce  the Fargo VA will begin offering outreach services the 3rd Thursday of every month at the Roseau County Courthouse starting on January 19th, 2017.

Each month two Fargo VA staff will be available from 2:30-3:30 pm to assist with any VA questions, concerns or needs you may have. You may pre-schedule a time or just arrive on that day.

From 3:30-5:00 pm the staff will each lead two groups. The groups  being offered include:

Veteran’s Group—This is a group open to any Veteran of any war era. The focus of each session will be dependent on group members’ needs. As the group gets established, focused education will be provided based on areas of need identified by group members.

Caregiver Group—This group is open to anyone who considers themselves a Caregiver/support person to a Veteran. The purpose of this group is to provide a welcoming environment where Caregivers of veterans  can voice their frustrations, challenges, fears, and conflicts as Caregivers.  The group facilitator will provide Caregivers with education, support, encouragement, and guidance on how best to care for their loved one while still caring for themselves.

Please don’t hesitate to call with any questions or to arrange an office visit time.
